Classic recipes are the kind that stand the test of time. The recipe we go back to over and over, that have lasted generations, are written on well worn recipe cards and that we talk about. This recipe is for a cookie that is a classic - peanut butter chocolate chip. Now, I'm not saying this recipe is recipe that's been handed down, but the kind of cookie is the classic. I found this recipe at thekitchenmagpie.com and it did not disappoint. They were delish! So give them a try and see what you think of these peanut buttery, chocolate chip, perfectly yummy cookies:)

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie

Cream together
1/2 c. softened butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
Mix in
1 large egg

When combined add in
1/2 c. peanut butter (I used creamy but you can use chunky)
2 tsp. vanilla

Whisk together in a separate bowl
1 1/4 c. flour (spoon this into your measuring cup - this ensures that you aren't using too much flour)
1/2 tsp. b. soda
1/2 tsp salt

Add the dry to the wet mixture, stirring until it is well mixed. Add in chocolate chips - recipe called for 2 cups, but I just pour until I'm satisfied!

Place onto parchment lined cookie sheet - make them whatever size you like, just watch your baking time. I used my cookie scoop and mine baked for about 13 minutes, until golden brown.

Enjoy!
