This recipe is such a family favorite! We have it on holiday mornings, but I have made it as a dessert served with ice cream - a bit weird but weirdly delicious! I usually have a bowl of vanilla glaze or cinnamon cream cheese icing for those that want it but it really doesn't need anything else - it's a perfect, so simple cinnamon bun:) Now, wouldn't this be a great New Year's Day breakfast/brunch? You get it ready the night before, let it rise while you're sleeping, and bake it for 25 minutes when you get up and everyone thinks you're a hero!
Let's get to the recipe. . .
Land of Nod
The night before - Into a greased bundt pan add in 1 package of frozen dough buns (I think there's 20 or so in a package)
Sprinkle over top of the frozen dough 1 c, b, sugar 1/4 c. vanilla instant pudding powder 1-2 tbsp. cinnamon Pour over top 1/4-1/2 melted butter
Cover with a damp cloth and leave in a draft free spot (I use the inside of my oven with the light on)
Bake at 350 for about 20-25 minutes until the buns are beautifully golden.
Remove, let sit for a few minutes and flip onto a plate.
