Do you ever crave a real good chocolate chip cookie? And if you say no, well, we just might not be able to be friends LOL. I just love a good chocolate chip cookie. I love it right from the oven, day old or even out of the freezer (nothing really stops me!)
This recipe is from Preppy Kitchen and it is delish. It's a bit of bigger cookie, but it puffs up nicely, great texture and just the right amount of chocolate chips. It comes together in 1 bowl, and is so satisfying - it just makes me happy!
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Cream together until light and fluffy
1/2 c. unsalted butter (room temp)
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. b. sugar
Add in and mix together
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 large egg
Slowly add in and stir until almost combined
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. b. soda
Stir in
1 1/2 c. oats
1 c. chocolate chips.
Pop into the fridge for an hour or over night - you'll be glad you did.
Using a small scoop (about 2 tbsp.) drop onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake at 350 for about 8 minutes until edges are golden brown (baking time will depend on the size of you cookie).
Enjoy!Â
